Ok it takes me a hour or more to go to sleep and it take me a while to feel awake in the afternoon. I am 13 and this has been up for a while sooo what should i do. Is this normal or just me??

Answer:    You could see a doctor but your kinda infantile to go on meds.,and you would'nt even want to .theirs to many side affects. It's majority with everyone and it could be cuz' of many reason. The things you eat or drink just since going to bed.Stay away from caffeine. It could be cuz' your not getting enough exercise.Or maybe your thinking of things and your mind is other going.I find it easier to fall asleep with a t.v. on or a radio. You should be taking vitamins if your sensation tired in the morning. And try eating glowing..
The more you think about going to sleep the longer it will purloin for you to go to sleep. I know this sounds crazy but the one thing that puts me to sleep the quickest is when I start my nightly prayer. When I start thinking in the order of different people who need my prayers and what I obligation to pray about then I slump right off to sleep. Works every time. It may sound stale the wall but just try it. As for you not feeling rested after a full night sleep then there is something else going on. You may stipulation a sleep study done to make sure you are not having any sleeping disorders approaching apnea etc while you sleep which can make you feel close to you have not rested. Talk to your parents and to your family doctor.Hope you sleep very well tonight. I'm a teenager as well and i believe that it is completely everyday cause i have that too, once college starts you will start feeling more awake that happens to me ever summer .
Maybe you`re person over anxious, don`t worry. It`s normal. My best friend does it, too. So, I reason it's just part of anyone a teenager.
It happens to me sometimes, too.
