Sprained ankle again : )?

okay.
i was also wondering how long it should take for my ankle to alleviate...
i have a softball game monday.
and tuesday.
and wednesday.
hahaa.
and i only sprained it yesterday; thursday.


could you tell me how long it would be until i could run and be better and not feel any twinge anymore?

I get my ears pierced roughly speaking nearly 5 days ago, in a minute I have need of some lend a hand.?

i sprained mine 6 weeks ago... and it is still swollen.

i waited about 2 weeks for it to make well a little and then started playing on it again.. but i still grasp it taped.

you should wrap it in an ACE plaster and stay off it as much as possible and ice it and elevate it for 20 mins. past and after a game, or whenever it hurts really bad. taking asprin also help with the pain and swelling. beforehand you start playing again on it, you should go to your school trainer and see if they will video it for you. it really helps stabalize the ankle. if you don't have a trainer, use an ankle brace, it's the subsequent best thing.



good luck, and try to stay bad your ankle. if you try to play on it too soon, it'll just end up getting worse! approaching me =)

well i just sprained my ankle and its a mild sprain and i should pilfer a week off to heal but im playing.
it can anywhere from a week to several months

Ok this should help rather i hope.

Ive sprained my anke many times (about 5) and ive completely destroyed the ligaments in my right ankle (and im merely 16) so im pretty good at this.

You have 2 ligaments on the top of your ankle, 2 on the inside of your foot and 2 on the outside of your foot and consequently your tendon is in the backbone. The ligaments are what hold your foot bone to your shin bone or whatever its called at the communal. It sounds like you just hold a regular sprain because if it was any worse you would be searing and at the ER so it should heal relatively quick. You need to rime it every 20 minutes and then take bad the ice for 20 minutes on the sprain and continue this everyday. Of course you don't entail to ice constantly but as much as possible. I would get some crutches and wrap it beside a ACE bandage to keep it stable and unsophisticatedly baby it. If you can stay off it for atleast 5 days you should be ok for a spectator sport but you ABSOLUTLY HAVE TO ice it after the game. Also acquire a brace at Drug Mart, Walgreens, Wal Mart, etc for ankles and wear it during your game for a week or two.

Im sure you will feel some agony at the game and you might need to miss mondays winter sport but if you really want to play make sure you have a brace on but be carful. I tried to polevault beside torn cartlige in my chest and i almost died from the pain after my submerge, it might feel good at first but when you start sprinting for that underneath you might be suprised how bad it can still hurt.
