Stabbed finger- feel similar to its broken! Please relief?
My brother works at a deli and was cutting up some meat and cut his finger. It be a really deep cut and is swollen and blue. Could he have possibly enjoy broken his finger?
He is icing it right now and is wondering if he should get it tape up to another finger?
Any suggestions.
Its 1 AM so we really don't know what to do being that it is so late.
Please give a hand!
Answer: dont tape it to another finger or anything if u think it may be broken shift A&E better safe than sorry
if its blue it means at hand is a limited supply of blood please go A&E and receive it checked out he could loose his finger if ur not careful

He definitely needs to shift to the ER. He will have to get a Tetanus shot, if he hasn't have one, especially if he was cutting meat. It's easier said than done to break his finger with just a cut, he may have put a scratch on the bone. It's getting an infection that worries me and should be worrying him. Good luck. If it is a really open cut then he will most likely have need of stitches.
You should drive him to the hospital immediately. They get patients close to this all the time, even at 1am =P

Go to emergency in a minute, they'll give a tetanus shot to be safe. You surely enjoy infected it. They'll give you antibiotics as well. Don't start out it this way. Think he shld go c doc cos u siad it be a deep cut n turning blue. wrap some cloth around it on the way.
