Stomach cramps after a stomach virus?

I've had a stomach virus for the past 4-5 days presently (since Friday), but I'm not sure when it 'weakened' up. During the first 3 days I had it, I was lightheaded, dizzy, green about the gills, and it hurt when I walked. I had diarrhea as in good health, but no vomiting. Now, I believe it has gotten better, and I've been going to arts school. My dad for some reason has be thinking it is because I'm really hungry/haven't eaten regularly/have bad gas, but I know it is more than that. He's be making me eat a whole lot, too, not really helping anything.

The most important problem now, is I've been have these bad stomach cramps, They're the type of cramps you get from running for a long time, but I procure them after walking only a few feet. I can still grain them while I'm sitting still but they're not as bad. I've tried going to the bathroom (1 & 2), burping, and even passing gas, but the pains preserve coming back. Can anyone recommend anything?

Answer:    You should never eat a undamaged lot after a stomach virus. You should start out with soups, scrambled eggs or say a small amount of mash potatoes. Eat in increments. Have you been getting plenty of liquid in you? Dehydration will cause cramping and dizziness.

If you hold it, take some pepto and sip at water as much as you can. If the cramping does not dance away then go to the doctor. Ask others that enjoy had the same virus if you know anyone. One strain surrounded by a locality can cause the same symptoms and see what they did..
Yea best entry to do now is go to the doctor. Honestly it could lots of reason why. I had the same problem approaching you for a year. Waking up with horrible stomach problems. I finally went to see a doctor and I be diagnosed with IBS (Irritable bowel syndrome) which was my stomach contracts everytime I seize nervous or stressed and acid starts burning my stomach. Thats only me though. Go to a doctor, especially if it continues.
(or take Pepto Bismol) ;] yes, first off, see your Dr to win a proper diagnosis. it is possible you have just get an irritated and inflamed gut following your virus. you need to be eating a extraordinarily light diet, of bland food, a little at a time. try rice, rice cake or a plain jacket potato. Avoid wheat products because if your gut is sensitive as it can be after a virus, you can become intolerant.
however, I think you should also rule out the possibility of appendicitis. Im not saying you do hold this, but pain when walking or even sitting still is not usual in a virus and after 5 days it should be on the road to recovery. it is possible to have appendicitis for several days before it become really acute (happened to me). Please see your Dr to put together sure this isnt happening to you because if it is you will need surgery. If it is not appendicitis, you Dr will be capable of advise you on what you need to do to attain well..
Eating a lot is not going to facilitate your stomach, especially if you are eating hard to digest foods resembling meat or spicy stuff. You want to eat, yes, but not over eat, and you want to put away bland foods like bananas, rice, applesauce and toast (the "BRAT diet"). Also yogurt is good.
You may also want to try taking some probiotics, they trade them usually refrigerated, in robustness food stores and the like.

I actually a short time ago went to the doctor about a similar issue yesterday, and that is to say pretty much what she told me.

Also, taking gas-x will help the gas pass through more at a rate of knots, and may relieve some discomfort.
