For the last two weeks I've been have really bad pains centralized around my belly button. I went to my doctor and he give me anacids but they are not helping. The pain can be very severe and sometimes make a contribution me shooting pains to the left of my stomach as well. The single thing that seems to fashion it better is drinking milk. Anyone know what this could be?

(oh and i definitely am not pregnant, so rule that one out).

when is your menstrual cycle due? Sometimes between 1-2 weeks prior to a period you can experience distress, gas or bloating. It is possible your ovary is inflamed causing discomfort. Also if you are constipated in any process, that too can cause this pain, as the tap "so to speak" that releases bowels is to the left side and slightly lower from your belly button. Lay on your left side when you rest or sleep. This will relief ease the pressure whether it is your ovary or valve specifically causing this either passageway, rest on your left side if you can.
