Answer:    I know this is really annoying as it happens to me as well, not exactly on my knees but on my legs.

Back in Mexico my doctor sent me to a therapy that worked for a few weeks and afterwards came back again… after I found a natural remedy that has be working perfectly since I got it.

There’s a cream name “Juniper Cream”, you use a little of it (like the size of a pea) and rub the area (arms, legs, put money on, neck, shoulders, etc), you will feel a bit bit warm and you will feel much better of late in minutes!
This cream stimulates circulation and helps near join pains, rheumatic pain arthritis, gout, muscle cramps and much more! I’ve be diagnose with carpal tunnel and it really hurts that some times I can’t even sleep! And my doctor said that I will have arthritis for sure! And this Juniper cream have been helping me you have no notion how well since long time ago, I really recommend it, and is natural! No chemicals, not tested on animals! Fabulous!

This is a concentrated cream so using a bit is more than plenty and lasts for ever!

I hope this can be as helpful as it have been for me.
