Stress fracture surrounded by foot?
i think i have a stress fracture contained by my foot what would the doctor do for it ?
Answer: It depends on where and how severe the fracture is. There are may bones in the foot. Some receive greatly of pressure. If it is in one of the bones the doctor will probably want you to stay off if it and permit it heal. Her or she may have you wear a special boot to keep hold of the pressure off of it.
It is a good belief to see a doctor. You symptoms as describe can be a lot of different things. I does not sound close to a stress fracture but it very well could be. If it is and it is surrounded by the wrong place then not seeing the doctor could only receive it worse. You do not want to end up with a condition that could be treated near rest and or immobilization getting worse and having to be treated with surgery.
