Surgery soon!!?
I am having laproscopic surgery this month to remove my right ovary and tube. I have suffered nearly 4 years now with tender cyst and have decided this is the best route to progress. Does anyone know what I can expect or will I be in pain. I am single 23 years old, is this the right decision?

I have a lap-choley (I had my gall bladder removed) Same type of procedure, different organ. You will own three to four small incisions made on your stomach--one near your bellybutton. They blow up your belly with gas to net room so they can see. After they finish, they will remove the instruments and attempt to remove as much gas as possible. The incisions will be tiny and "glued" together. You don't even need stitches! The most painful cog is after surgery when some of the gas is still inside. Wow,, I've had 3 laproscopies contained by 5mths for almost identical issues and I feel for you!you'll be down for a few weeks but the prevalent pain after will be the soreness by the incisions.
MAKE SURE 2 THINGS HAPPEN
1. Before surgery, your legs may get a bit 'wiggly' and restless from the IV's they bestow you so make sure they give you something to counteract that. (I deduce they gave me a benadryl type of thingee in my IV and it help,, )
2. AFTER Surgery, make sure your doc gives you a calligraphy for Phenagren (it's a kick butt nausea medicine (tablet form) and nick it as soon as you get into the recovery room. The anesthetic will produce you nauseaous
I cannot tell you about ovaries. But right after I be married, I needed surgery to correct a very painful rotated testicle. That be one of my better decisions. The pain be relieved after the surgery healed, allowing me to live my life. I be 25 at the time. I am 62 now. I think you will find it worth the risk and cysts can turn into cancer I've be told. So I have had one removed from my chest.

i dont enjoy much i can tell you but im kind of contained by the same boat im 16 and have have this unbearable pain surrounded by my lower ab. for a little over 14 months .. no docter could figgure it out then decied to rob out my appendix that was this past monday .. i cant bring up to date yet casue of the pain killer im on but i hope this will work for me and i hope your suregery turns out good for you <3 good luckI can't get the impression my knees?
