Surgery & I know that for the amount of time i will be in the hospital and fairly stoned at that...i will plainly want to smoke especially because they tell me not to. I would actually own to go AMA and off the grounds to smoke which is without a solution for what i have to do...so..in answer to my request for information..anyone tried hypnosis and if so did it work?

Answer:    I did it and it worked temporarily. I made the choice to go vertebrae to smoking (stupid). But with any quit smoking program you have to want it to work. The hospital should provide you near the nicotine patch while you are there.

You need to jump into the hypnosis with a positive attitude!

it depends on if your competent to truely be hypnotised i know a couple people who tried it and it didn't work because they weren't able to be hypnotised it depends on you really but i would in recent times go to the doctor and get a more conventional means of access they can give you mints to suck on when you want a cigarette so you don't have to hold a cigarette but you get your nicotine anyways, good luck 2 1/2 yrs ago I go in hospital not knowing I had to hold open heart surg, I was a smoker something like 2 packs a day. I come out 14 days later a non smoker and I have never have any cravings or any thing matter of certainty I cant be around ppl that smoke. try that cuz you are going to be dopey in the first place..
