Swelling at the site of a tick bite?
Has anyone ever had swelling (about the size of a half dollar) around the site of a tick bite? I removed it two days ago but I reason that it may have been attached for 1-2 days not really sure. It roughly looks like a mosquito bite with a red swollen ring around it (not relatively a bulleyes yet). Does anyone know if this is a normal reaction to a tick bite or do you feel that I need to go to the doctor? Any relieve would be appreciated.

I have had swelling approaching that after tick bites- and they do itch horribly.
Keep rubbing alcohol on it, and keep a sharp eye on it. You might not have anything to verbs about, but if anything changes see a doctor quickly.
