I woke up yesterday morning and when i rubbed my left eye it really hurt. When I looked in the mirror within was a bit of swelling on the inner corner but nothing too apparent.
Now today I woke up and its worse. It hurts to touch and the swelling has gotten worse. now a bit than just the inner corner, more of my upper eyelid is swollen.
There's no specific bumps that I can see. It hurts more today as well. And feel ichy.
I can't go to the doctor until after work today. Any ideas on what it might be and what I can do to conceivably get the swelling down until I can make it to the doctors?

I sounds close to that must be really uncomfortable.

It could be a stye, or just an infection. Try applying a cold compress until you can seize to the doctor. You should definately go to see your doctor after work though, he will be able to notify you what's going on.

Probably a stye. Very painful but if you go to a drugstore they should enjoy some OTC stuff for you. Careful though, very contagious. If you wear contact lenses, could be an infection and a little more serious.

you might enjoy pink eye warm cream put in your eye near a sterile dropper will help...or if it could be allergies they have a visine for allergies...if its merely swollen and not red its probably allergies
