Swollon ear? infection? or somethingelse ?
For about 2 weeks now my ear have gradually been getting swollon. Today it is VERY painfull. Its my right ear. I can put a earplug into my disappeared ear but not my right because its swollon. What could this be ?
I have been cleaning my ears 2-3 times a week. But immediately i cant clean my right because if it touch it, it just feel like there is another heart within pounding away. But painfull. Gives me a headache sometimes. Iv looked at it with 2 mirrors ( so i can see straight inside my ear ) and its all purpley/red/blue colour and i cant see inside the hole ! but near my left ear its normal color and i can accualy see the hole.
Im going to university in about 1hr and im gunna see my doctor nearby. Can you give me any ideas on what it could be?
Answer: Hello,, I'm really sorry more or less your ear. The inside of your ear shouldn't be purple red or blue. I have two things that come to mind and the first one may sound kinda uncommon. But is there any way you accidentally get something stuck in your ear? You don't say if it cause you to lose any hearing in that ear. OK that be the first one. The second one is you've got an inner ear infection. This could cause a yellowish discharge and rationale you ear to swell shut. And I know from experience, if you do have a discharge, and it stays next to your eardrum or dries near, you can hear your heart beat. Well what most people filch for their heart beat. It can also cause your blood pressure to rise, which make it sound like you can hear your heart lash. This can be very serious and left untreated, can basis lose of hearing,,so plz do go see your doctor. Oh one other entry. Ask your doctor about cleaning your ears 2-3 times a week. If you using something like alchohol or peroxide, you may be cleaning them too much,, as, they not solely get rid of bad germs, they also get rid of the good microbes. And you need some ear wax in your ears,,,it's nearby for a reason. To keep pollen and other polutants from getting to your inner ear. Hope you obtain to feeling better soon.
