Tendon injuries, can they pile?
can a hurt tendon aggravate other tendons? i ask this because i have tennis elbow from work, so i am on bedside light duty. but now my thumb hurts all of a sudden. it feel stiff and sore, and i cannot tell if it is muscle or tendon affliction.
Answer: Tendinitis is just that inflammation of the tendon usually where on earth it attaches to the bone. It is not so much what you do, light or heavy duties but underlying inflammation. Problem anyone once the inflammation has started it is hard to take it under control. See your Doc and they should give you some anti-inflammatory medication which will relief. If it persists they might even give you a few injections into the joint to help get the inflammation lower than control. Best of Luck
