Answer:    Firstly, good on you for not wanting to turn to meds!

OK, I have matching problem, but sometimes I can relieve it. Drink a hot drink before you go to bed, but not one next to caffeine in - some hot chocolate or warm milk is best. But don't guzzle in the 1-2 hours before you shift to bed. Reading a book or listening to some quiet music or an audio book will also minister to relax you enough to go to sleep.
This will nouns weird, but new research have shown that electronic devices keep us awake - because of the lights on them! Make sure their little blue or green or red lights are covered up. If it's hot, open a skylight. Pull the curtains. :).
I wish I could answer your question but I too hold lots of trouble sleeping. I have been know to work 16hr days be late worn out go to bed then fall up tossing and turning for hours because my mind is still moving a million miles an hour. There are good over the counter things you can take approaching Valarian root. It is all natural but be warn it does stink. Also a product that I love it is located in the vitiamin section call Melatonin. Don't know what it's made of but it works for me. It some how relaxes my mind. Don't take until you are in bed in place to sleep it won't make you tired but helps to focus on sleeping at tiniest for me it does.

Good luck

Hope this helps!

Everyone is asking THIS question.. You should cut adjectives caffeine out of your diet. Try to exercise before you go to bed, more than usual. Also, reading a book repeatedly will put you to sleep. If you are worrying, remember, worrying is a waste of time. Not to worry, unless something have happened you need to verbs about.
You can set your alarm, making yourself get up, and also exercising until you are worn out, only before bedtime. Don't start to go to bed really unpunctually. I would suggest first going to the doctor and seeing if you have any sleeping disorder and the cause of this. I reflect on most of this kind of problems (insomnia, headaches or migraines, etc) are because of the each day stress. I’m going to suggest some natural products that had be working on my family for years.

There’s an oil that my mother-in-law uses name Melissa bath essence (relaxing and soothing), she’s supposed to take a tub whit this oil but she doesn’t really have the time for the 15 minutes tub so what she does is to put her feet into a warm hose container (the hottest you can handle the better) for about 10 minutes and puts just about 5 drops of this oil into the water and while she does this, she’s checking up her emails or watching some tv show. Then now she goes to sleep. She suffered insomnia for many years and at the origin she used to add into the water more or less 5 drops of an oil named “ant-stress” for a few months, after she didn’t needed it anymore and uses just the Melissa oil.

I own a two years old son that used to sleep into my husband’s and my bed and I made the transition to his own bedroom and crib. He awakes several times in the hours of darkness so I tried the Melissa oil as well. Every darkness I give my son’s his last bottle and while he’s drinking I rub ONE drop of this grease into his soles of the feet and since then he sleeps so tight ‘till subsequent morning. I’m not afraid of using this because this is a natural product that doesn’t develop dependence.

These oils are concentrated so a few drops works without blemish and last for ever!

Because you are a minor, I may show this answer to your parents and if they like it, you can find these products at the following innate products website:
