Tylenol? Headaches or something else?

I have a 11 year old stepdaughter who is other asking for Tylenol and I know something is up but cant figure out what it is. Are kids using Tylenol for something else other than headache? Any help would be great!

Answers:    First off, using tylenol frequently can incentive health concerns, including the liver.

Yes, it can be mixed with other drugs for "recreational drug use". As economically, (and this is not to scare you) but she could be storing them for an overdose. This has happen before.

You need to detail her to try other methods for pain relief ( headache- cool cloth on forehead and a reading light snack), hot water bottle for pain within other areas of her body (unless there is swelling, then rime pack).

Trust your instincts if you feel something is up. We parents 'know' when something is up and we are not wrong in that detection. So lock up any medication you have, tell her no and plan a stop by to the doctor regarding this.

Good luck!.
Kids think that even if they hold slight pain, they need Tylenol to fix it. I used to do that when I be a kid, It made me feel like a grown up, but in a minute I know that too much is bad for you liver and you should only transport it when you really need it Ask her.

TALK TO HER!

What if it's something like a brain tumor and it turns out that hand her pills made it worse?

What if she is saving up for an overdose? All you need to do is SPEAK! to I don`t know save her life.
