What can I do just about a former doctor preventing me from getting the medical protection I have need of?

He was my primary care provider for fibromyalgia/chronic severe headache, then dropped me as a patient because of my med usage. Now every dr I telephone call say they wont treat me because he tells them that I am freshly a pill seeker.

My 10 month old-fashioned have yellowish discharge coming from her right eye?

Sadly, I'm in like peas in a pod boat as you. My doctor in Colorado has have me on oxycodone and morphine sulfate for about two years now. A few months ago, I moved to Vermont. I call in advance, and know from the start I was in trouble. No doctor required to treat me. My mother called our family doctor. He be retiring soon, so he set me up with a colleague. I thought she was liable to help me. Her office said several times that yes they know what medications I was taking, and yes they would aid me.

When I called to get my medication refill, I was told I would have to congregate with the doctor. She told me she wasn't comfortable with my medication and looked-for to change it. She switched me to Fentanyl. She said she had calculated my aged medication dose to be equivalent with Fentanyl. She said this was 200 mcg. She wrote the prescription and sent me on my road.

When my fiance went to the pharmacy, they said 200 mcg patches do not exist. We go back to the doctor, and she rewrote the prescription for 100 mcg. 200 mcg was in actuality 1/3 of my previous dose, but that wasn't enough. She actually one and only wanted me to use 1 patch. I didn't read the box, and I will admit that be my fault, but based on what she said I thought she considered necessary me to use 2. That was strike one.

To cut to the chase, the patches didn't work. They give me chest pains, and the pain was excruciating. I call her office. My new doctor wasn't contained by, but her staff told me to go to the ER. They stated I probably wouldn't be given medication to take home, but I could turn in everyday until I could see the doc. They decided to contribute me percocet so I wouldn't have to come back everyday.

When my doctor found out, she go through the roof. She said I wasn't following her regiment, and wanted to drop me as a patient. She agreed to impart me oxycodone, but only if my dad held onto it (I'm 27, by the way). I thought this was too much. I call my doctor back home. He stated that the cut was too drastic, that I should find a current doctor and take the medicine as needed.

My breathing problems started to capture really bad. I called my doctor, and told her the truth. I explained I have taken extra oxycodone. She dropped me as a patient, and now she refuse to send my old doctors documentation to new ones. She only sends her info.

I hope you find someone to backing you. If you do, please pass it on. I will do the same. So masses seem to think that have an MD makes you god. The doctors certainly do.

Good luck to you.

How do I win rid of a bloated tummy?

Student0... using your logic after doctors are apparently infallible. Doctors CAN'T ever kill patients because of mistakes, not understand a situation or disorder or ever bring things wrong in general, they be trained after all!

Different doctors have different perspective on pain, pain headship, medications, conditions and so forth. If you have chronic agony then really your pain should not be manage by a PCP. My PCP prescribes my medications but only because I enjoy been evaluated multiple times by the clinic's pain government specialist and he agrees that at this time, medication is a necessary part of my treatment/management of my condition.

My PCP know VERY little about pain or treating niggle so instead of prescribing scheduled narcotics to a 21 year old short have much experience, she had an expert involved surrounded by the situation.

Pain management specialists in common are better trained to evaluate the pathologies and design modalities appropriate for your situation. That may be strong medications or it may be other forms of treatment.

I understand your situation though. My doctor who I be seeing since before the pain started, moved out my clinic and so after 2 years, starting with a new doctor who didn't know anything almost me or my condition was difficult. At one point her office accuse me of trying to get drugs from multiple pharmacies. I don't really even understand because I be using two wal-greens that keep all my history and I only used a second pharmacy (that was 3 blocks away from the first) because the first one didn't hold GENERIC oxycontin and I don't have extra money. Every prescription was establish by the same doctor, the one accusing me of abuse.

The situation be quickly resolved but multiple times her office have arbitrarily stopped my medication for a week or two which was devastatingly painful and mortified.

I realize that after all this rambling, you really could be asking for suggestion on how to 'doctor shop' to get medicines. If you really own pain, then see a headache specialist. If you really don't, then go ahead and try and you will hold a difficult time getting past someone so well trained surrounded by treating pain.

How can you know how severe a burn is?

hey-hate to bust your bubble but doctors go through years of training and training, and I would trust what a doctor thinks more than a random party.

What can you do to help/prevent/relieve shin splints?

i recently posted a question going on for he emotional and physical trauma I have suffered as a result of medical malpractice--

I've have doctors push drugs on me when I didn't want them (narcotics) tehy get mad at me because I am informed and be paid tehm expalin themselves instead of blindly following tehir commands--

It sounds as if your former doctor has violated your privacy-In teh US we have strong Privacy laws-

and if one doctor dialogue to others about you without your say-so that is ILLEGAL--

google medical privacy laws/HIPPA

and look for a lawyer-
