What could be wrong beside my not here knees?
When I run, jump, or experience any kind of shock too the knees, I feel minor pain around the knees cap area that affects my behaviour athletically. I can usually feel the pain when i fully extend my leg while it is flexed. I can still play sports but the spasm has been near for quite a while after i felt it coming down from a vertical hop, What could be wrong?
Answer: it sounds like u may have any a slight tear to ur meniscus or could just be patellar tendonitis...
if it is patellar tendonitis(which seem to be the likely culprit) then adjectives u will have to do is get a patella strap from close to walgreens or walmart and wear it while doing sports... i would try this first and if this doesnt help then u may want to see an orthopeadist and see going on for getting an MRI to rule out any tears...
but i wouldnt wait too long or let the cramp become untolerable.
Yeah it's likely almost certainly tendinitis. I hurt my patellar muscle coming down from a jump in large school, and it took months to go away. That's something that those who play a lot of sports experience, especially basketball because of all the pounding on the knees beside quick cuts and jumps. If you can still be live, I'm sure the tendon just have some inflamation and isn't torn. Give it rest, and eat well. Tendons and ligaments requirement nutrients to be repaired. You can do really light weight exercises for rehab too.
