For a while now I've been experiencing pain and numbness contained by my right hand. Until recently the only point that would happen was that I would go numb from my appendage (although not my fingers) up to my elbow. Now I experience pain, but it's very particuliar.
I only experience aching when I use or have a tight grip with my index finger. I also experience pain when I apply pressure at the tip of it. The throbbing of extends from my index finger to just after my wrist. The appears to be comming from a 'string like' thing in the palm of my beneath my index finger next to my thumb. (I'm guessing a nerve or tendon) which connects to my index finger.

It's really uncomfortable and recurrently times 2 aspirins doesn't take all the pain away. Sometimes it's so excruciating that inside I almost suffer from panic attacks and lose some sleep because of it!
