What thoughtful of doctor do i finally see for mouth canker sores?
I finally realized that the painful sores surrounded by my mouth are canker sores.I've spent endless money on doctor recommendations and gum treatments,but my mouth still hurts.Can someone please put in the picture me what kind of doctor i really need to see for this problem?
Answer: Probably purely your family Doctor, or a specialist Nose, Throat & Ear. Canker sores are for the most part cause by a virus, and in time they will go away on their own. I suppose what I treated my son's mouth ulcer with may help you as ably. I used to get some White Iodine, and using a Q-tip apply it to each sore. Now it really burns, but solitary for a few seconds, but it healed up the ulcer. You can also get some Maalox Liquid and Pepto Bismol and swish it all around the inside of your mouth may relief, worth a try. You could take some Motrin for the pain also, Best of luck to you sir.

I own the same problem and all the doctors say aloud is that most are caused by trauma to the mouth (you may be biting the area within your sleep or something) or most likely some kind of small food allergy. Mixing Milk of Magnesia and soft benedryl is supposed to stop it from hurting alot, Just mix it up and swish it around for about a minute, but don*t swallow it or you*ll just hold to poop and be sleepy.In Australia I have never heard of canker sores contained by someones mouth. In a dogs ears, yes. Go to a Gp or get some excellant mouthwash called Biotene. I dont know if you can return with it outside of Australia tho but I am sure you can get a mouthwash with a local anaesthetic surrounded by it. You may need AB's or even to see a dentist. How are your teeth? And watch what you put away. Nothing too acidic. It will make your mouth bleed and break open the wound once it has started to heal.

i have this problem a couple years ago. I have TMJ, so i grind my teeth at night. When you grind your teeth, you knick the inside of your maw and your tongue.Just go to your dentist and ask for a night guard for TMJ and it will probably stop.
