If I go to the doc and get prescribed steroids for poison ivy, how will that effect me? I'm not gonna grow a mustache or anything...right? lol i know this sounds stupid, but i'm kinda worried and my poison ivy itches sooooo unpromising..

Steroids are very effective and hold few side effects when given as a short course, particularly when used as a cream or inhaled (as opposed to taken systemically) - this allows, when appropriate, a highly developed concentration of steroids to be delivered where it is needed while protecting the rest of the body.
Long possession courses of systemic steroids can have some pretty serious side-effects, but that sort of thing would not be indispensable for poison ivy.

i take steroids for asthma, prednisone.

your hair looks greasy, so wash it each day till your done with it.
