Hi,

Athralgia usually coexists next to other medical conditions as you suggested arthritis. I have an autoimmune disease vasculitis and I get this. Some days I merely ache like I am getting the flu. Sometimes its a notice to me that I am going into a flare and to take extra care of myself.

There is no interview for athralgia but sometimes Drs will test your sed rate among other things to see if there is anything inflammatory going on.

Has your Dr referred you to a rhuematologist? This is a well brought-up start if you need further investigation.

I am afraid this isn't a disease, it is just one of the medical ways of adage ' Joint pain.' No. Its a medical term for unified pain..
