What is the best darkness splint?

I am having some pretty major calf and heel problems. So far I enjoy been diagnosed with plantar fascists, Achilles tendinitis, and posterior tendinitis. It is also possible that I may enjoy torn my Achilles tendon. I was surrounded by physical therapy but I lost my medical insurance. I am still doing the stretches that they prescribednd wearing a walking boot. On my ultimate visit I was recommended a darkness splint. I went to purchase the splint but I don't know which is best and since they are so expensive I wondered if anyone here had worn one and would suggest a obedient choice. I know it is going to be uncomfortable and hard to sleep beside but if it will stop the pain it will be worth it. I cant ask the doctor due to my lack of insurance? Any warning would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Answer:    Only a PT would know which would suit your specific needs. Best of Luck.
The strassburg sock is probably the most comfortable if you are a side sleeper. It's relatively inexpensive too.

...but these tend to work fine as well if you are a stern sleeper:
