What is the difference between a "routine" and "delayed" CT doll?
I'm trying to understand the results of a recent CT scan. There are two sets of images contained by the study, one is called "Routine" and the other is called "Delayed." Can anybody explain to me what these jargon mean in the context of a CT scan?
Answers: A routine would be where on earth you are directly xrayed by the ct scan, and a delayed would be after you were injected with a radioactive isotope. Do you remember the docs giving you an IV?
Pictures would be taken lacking the meds, then WITH the meds and compared..
