What is the difference between a roxicet and a percocet?
Answers: Both Roxicet and Percocet are combination medications. They both contain oxycodone and acetaminophen. The difference between the two is the dosage.
Roxicet is available in 325/5, 500/5, or 325/5/5 mL (liquid).
Percocet is available in 2.5/325, 5/325, 7.5/325, 7.5/500, 10/325 and 10/650.
They are produced by different manufacturers which is why they have different names. They are the same drugs within, though..
Roxicet and Percocet are both drugs created from the base chemical oxycodone. Percocet, Endocet, Tylox, Roxicet are created with acetaminophen in them.
Drugs like that usually have different names only because they are produced by different pharmaceutical companies.
For example, the 'generic' of Vicodin is hydrocone. It's just trademarked to a specific company.
