What is the safest over the counter medication for heartburn/indigestion?

I want to take some medicine to win immediate relief but I don't want to steal anything with serious side effects. For example, Pepcid AC can cauce AV heart block and heart arrythmia and prilosec OTC can cause a heart attack or other heart problems next to long term usage. I have tried tums, they provide nouns for only a short time.

Quick-Eze contained by tablet form. You can get it at supermarkets. Gives rapid nouns.I have found that I do not get heartburn if I do not guzzle spicy, fatty or salty foods. Another important point is that I do not get heartburn if I do not overload my stomach with too much food. You did not mention if your heartburn made you cough or if you get breathing difficulties from having it. If you do get these symptoms consequently you need to see your doctor. Try and eat more alkaline foods. See Ya. By the passageway Quick-Eze is available in NZ, I don't know about other countries. It may own another name or there may be an alternative, purely ask your chemist or phone them. Quick-Eze is made in Australia.Try to prevent it.

My Doctor says MY LANTA.

A commonly loud ringing surrounded by the gone ear?

Mylanta is usually what my doctor recommend.
Have you been checked for GERD? Your symptoms sound exactly close to my mother's, she was diagnosed with GERD which is similiar to sharp reflxx. I think it stands for Gastric Esophogeal Reflux Disease. I think Acid reflux is when the sour backs up into your stomach and GERD is when the acid back up into your esophogus
To my knowledge the chance of serious side effects beside Prilosec are so minimal that it's worth taking the chance. Mom has be taking Prilosec since long before it was available over the counter, is within her 80s and has no heart problems. I would speak to your doctor before taking it long residence to make sure you aren't in the group of relations most likely to encounter problems. EVERYTHING has side effects, you enjoy to weigh the liklelihood and the severity against the benefit. With GERD and acid Reflex, the damage you do to your body beside it out of control is worse than you might think. Untreated it's going to front to surgical intervention.
You really need to see a doctor and have the explanation for the heartburn diagnosed. Once you know the cause it is easier to know how to treat it successfully and how to adjust your diet accordingly so you may not have need of further treatment.
