I was diagnosed with mono on friday.and this morning I woke up next to a stabbing pain right by my ribs on my left side.

This is cause by your mono. It is kind of like have pleurisy or walking pneumonia.

If the pain spreads or gets any worse I would give the name my doctor.

I have a friend who just get this. She is a dental assistant and apparently a patient passed it along. The dentist did not get it but she did. She have been very sick. And have been in discomfort like the flu and she said her ribs hurt.
