What is this on my ear ?
Right beside my cartilage piercing is a big red bump which feels really hard. When i get my upper ear pierced at the shop with a normal gun my ear be fine for 2 years. Then my ear got infected and really itchy, but i didn't take my earring out. Only until just now when my ear grew this big red bump on one side did i take my earring out. Now it sometimes itches and it is warm. It is emergence to grow another bump on the other side.
What is this bump and will it go away? I don't want to make it worse.
Answer: I have this happen to me, it is common. It might not travel away even with cleanings, i had mine for 7 years and it go through these phases for a month or two at a time. Finally 2 years ago i got frustrated and took it out, i miss the way it looked when it be healthy but i dont miss the pain. I used to hold trouble sleeping on it regardless of the jewelery i put in it. It felt hot and throbbing and sometimes black and blue. I suggest seeing a doctor and realize you hold princess skin and cannot be pierced..
It's probably just scar tissue. I've other had it happen when I get cartldge peirced. I've always had to clutch them out because of it. Some people are more prone to it then others. I also get one beside my belly ring. when it's itchy and swollen I would put vitamin E on it but that really only relieves that itch. it may not make the bump travel away. Go to a doctor.
i had that...keep cleaning it...it'll move about away with time
