What is this agony surrounded by my wrist?

I hurt my wrist a year and a half ago playing tennis, and putting a lot of strain on it, but I never saw a doctor because I thought it be just a pulled muscle or something and the pain would simply budge away. Well, it hasn't, and now every time I use my wrist, put pressure on it, do any thing that involves lifting, pulling, etc near it, it hurts SO bad, and it swells up around my wrist and down beside of my thumb.
Any suggestions as to what this could be, and what I can do to stop it?

I get stitches surrounded by my finger 24 hrs ago and immediately I'm hunch numbness?

There is a good coincidence you may have carpal tunnel syndrome, I have provided a relationship for you so you can read up on it.

You can help reduce swelling surrounded by the wrist by icing it on and off for 20 mins for 2 hours, and then put roast on it for 20 mins to loosen the muscles in the wrist and stretch them to relieve pain and cramping. You solitary want to stretch and rotate the wrist to a comfortable degree, never stretch to where its tight or discomforting.
