the lip doesnt hurt at all, but the nipple is a bit painful. i pierced my trunk and everything myself. its no worse than having it done by a professional. just maintain it from getting infected and the best thing for it is sea saline... you can buy it in any grocery store. Neither are as painful as belly button piercing, but I guess orifice is the worst of the two..
probably nipple Nipple hurts more, but it's harder to do you own lip... It gets slippy and that's not good.
