What is wrong next to me??? Help me please I'm startled
I'm a 14 year old girl. About a two weeks ago (not really sure if its related-don't think it is) I have a really bad virus in my throat- restlessness, horrible sore throat, chills, muscle aches, etc. and then it subsided into a cough and get better after a week. Recently (after the virus passed) I have had really impossible diarrhea. Like it will wake me up because I am in so much misery and I have to go (happening for nearly three days now. The diarrhea seems to be getting for a while bit better.
But the thing that scared me the most is that every single second of the time I am so exhausted, like I feel approaching i could lie down and pass out any second. That only keeps on getting worse, I can't figure out if this is merely because I am sleep deprived or because there is something wrong. Also, I often have a feeling slightly dizzy, and like I am in a daze or a dream. My short residence memory doesn't seem to be as good as it as a rule is, and I'm getting very scared. What is wrong beside me??
I also now need specs (related?)
Please help me, but don't scare me, I'm already worried adequate as it is.
Thanks so much
(BTW I do have an anxiety and sleep disorder -insomnia- but never ever anything this bad. During the college year I get like 5 hours of sleep a dark and I can still function just as well.)
I newly want to know if this is something that requires medical attention, or if it something serious.
Thanks again
Answer: dont worry. You dont need medical attention. adjectives those extra things you said arent related. its just the fact that u be on ver bad diarrhea which cause you to become dried up and that causes dizzyness and loss of energy. drink gatorade or something near electrolytes. Pedialyte helps, it is a drink for kids when they have diarrhea and are parched, yes it is for little 3 yr olds and younger but football players use that to keep themselves hydrated during the game. It is common, keep that and stay on the BRAT diet to lose the diarrhea, only Bananas, Rice, Applesause, and Toast. BRAT DIET AND PEDIALYTE!! best of luckk.
It might be purely a late case of the flu, but you should see a doctor to bring in sure, drinks lots of fluid so you don't dehydrate. This IS defiantly something serious. Please get to a doctor soon. Go to your parents please..
Sounds approaching the flu - and these may be two separate cases. Keep drinking liquids and eating hygienic foods - adding fiber to your diet should help near the diarrhea. Your exhaustion and dizziness are most likely cause by malnutrition and dehydration. Diarrhea causes food and sea to pass through our systems too quickly for our body to hold them. This is especially true of water.
Make sure you are drinking tons of water. I mingy tons, and you'll probably start to feel better. You may wish to call round a doctor as well, as viral throat infections don't often result in diarrhea.
