What is wrong beside my cat's foot?

My cat has had some sort of infection and I want to know if it's serious or not.

First stale he had a bad smelling infection first, but consequently we soaked it in Hydrogen Peroxide and the smell was a smell of an ear infection. Then the smell eventually go away.

His pad on his right foot in swollen, next to some dark red stuff around the outsides of his pad (might be blood.)

He doesn't flaccid much but at times he will stop and he will favour that paw.

I'm worried about my guy, he's precious to me, and I don't want anything to come about to him.

We are low income we have barely adequate money to get by.

Is there anyone out in that that can help us with our situation, or can support us find a cheap or a free vet around the Buffalo, NY area?

Is it okay to interval wearing contact lenses for a few months and after resume wearing duplicate twosome?

Is he eating, drinking and eliminate ok? If so, he's probably gonna be just fine, but here's some first aid on the cheap:

The first thing you want to do is go and get a really good look at the foot, by cleaning it thoroughly with a reheat water soak. Most cats don't take to it very well, so I have a special pillowcase that I use, with a small hole within it to pull the paw through. The pillow case is to protect yourself from the rest of the cat. Tie the top shut near the rest of the cat inside so you can work without getting scratched or bitten.

Soak the paw in lukewarm hose down for a few minutes to loosen any encrusted blood and dirt. Are there any breaks/cuts in the skin on the pad? Be sure and check between the toes as well. Then grasp each toe and helpfully squeeze until the claw extends. Sometimes kitty litter and other nasty crud builds up around the base of the claw where on earth it retracts into the toe. You can safely remove any buildup with a cotton swab and 50percent hydrogen peroxide/water mix.

If you find any shabby areas, they can be treated with neosporin or a triple antibiotic cream.

Continue to check the paw daily and verbs as needed. And do watch yourself for scratches and treat them in half a shake as well.

My best wishes for the rapid reclamation of your furbaby.

How do you break your foot?

I hate Cats! However, remember they are prone to stepping on thorns, broken glass and can cut the pad with a blade of grass. Therefore good work on clearing any infection next to peroxide. Therefore you may want to give the pad a swab with luke warm hose down and see if their is anything stuck in it? Best of Luck

If my aunt be unloading Medicaid contained by Texas...will she receive indistinguishable coverage when she moves to California?
