Answer:    tmk boi is right...California has the highest pay rate of PTs as compared to the rest of the nation. This was recently released in PT Today or one of those other PT magazines that I get every other week. Average salary is about $72,000 in CA (from what I remember) which is about 5-10,000 dollars more than national average. Yet, don't let the number fool you, CA also has one of the highest costs of living in the country. You be better off moving to a rural area in need of PT where the cost of living is really low if you want to earn top dollar. .
