What would lead to this?

i layed in the sun today and got approaching a inprint from the lounge chair on the side of my face its be hours and it hasn,t gone away what would cause this?

i think you freshly laid on the lounge chair too long. the imprint has probably lessened since that time so beside some (possibly many) more hours it'll go away. your skin does have elasticity so it shoudl be subsidise to normal. if it doesn't, then i woudl see a doctor (maybe dermatologist) because it's probably not usual..
