It is hard for anyone to describe another person's migraine pain. Each person's misery perception, and each migrine episode is different. For this reason the International Headache Society have developed a scale for patients to report the pain level of the migraines. The scale is as follows:0 no pain
1 mild strain 'does not interfere with usual activities'
2 moderate pain 'inhibits, but does not solely prevent usual activities'
3 severe pain 'prevents all activities'
A character with a level 3 migraine have a pain level and debilitation similar to someone who have just has primary surgery, including nausea, vomiting and often other neurologic problems. These people are unanimously bedridden and are usually confined to a dark room unable to function surrounded by any way.
A person who have ambulatory surgery, may have pain, but they are competent to walk, eat, and progress home, but may not be able to work, this is often the grip with some severe level 2 migraines. In a horizontal 2 migraine, usually any enjoyable activity is lost, and one and only those neccessary functions are maintained, but at a reduced level.
As far as my personal severe migraines (level 3), they usually quality like someone is driving a railroad spike into the side of my head, except, that near mine, I also lose my vision, all the opinion down the left side of my body, and usually vomit or am so nauseous I am unqualified to eat. My worst headache lasted 15 days, and resulted contained by my admission to an ICU for control of all of the blood pressure, and other issues resulting from the anguish and inability to eat.
Proper management can prevent abundant but not all migraines, and some forms of migraine respond well to medication. Also lifestyle and behavioral methods are very helpful.
I'm sorry you enjoy this problem. It is hard for others to understand stomach-ache when you cannot show them physical signs, such as scars or other physical changes.
Like have A 12 pound baby with no drugs.!And until you win one its really hard to understand. I am sorry for you because I suffered for years. until they found out I be mildly depressed and that they were my bodies way to relieve stress. The merely way I could get rid of them be to sleep them off. A dark room a couple unisome and lots of low. Good luck
