Clinics are cheap but few are free. The quality of health supervision varies of course. I would check out one of them. By far the cheapest piece to do. (you pay according to ability to payment.) It's pretty much like only have to deal with a co-pay and not the monthly dues which are a bummer.
If you walk for an ins. policy they might deny you or charge you more if you have a pre-existing condition (which you do.) You'll have to pretend you are nutritious if you go for one of them.
I suggest the clinic or public health organization. You may have to wait 3 hours but within the long run you only pay for them when you entail them.
Some of my friends pay $400.00 or so a month and that's just the monthly charge. If they see a Doc. it's about $30.00 co-pay and about $15.00 co-pay for respectively of their generic meds.
I pay about $225.00 per mo. but enjoy a huge deductible $2,500.00 per year then they will pay 70% of the expenses after that that they deem reasonable. Health care is out of sight. It make me SICK !
