Whats a mode of getting to sleep?

i can't sleep at night time i'm always twisting and turning, counting sheep doesn't help at adjectives!
Answers:    Don't count sheep, thats rubbish! Go through the alphabet and think of a word for each letter; I am as a rule asleep by F!

Mixing oxcodone and excedrin?

I had the same problem,plus nightmares.
I have found that white noise(a devotee running,even a 60 min. music tape with a performer I like) works for me.
The music cartridge sounds as if it will keep you awake,but because you are familiar with the songs and their sequence,you listen for a trustworthy song to play and fall asleep before you hear it.
It is like listen for the church bells to ring,or the next train,or any thing that happens approximately equal time each night.
Believe me it really works.

Don't watch tv in your bedroom
Make sure the room is comfortably cool
Try Benadryl 25mg tablets
Try Melatonin tablets, more colloquial, but don't work as well.
Try chamomile tea at night
Don't drink anything with caffeine after lunchtime
Read a book
Take a warm bath
Get a noise architect to block out backround noises

I have found that something boring or repetitive gets me to sleep. Listening to the constant hum of a supporter is a good one as it drowns out background noises that distract you...concentrate on the enthusiast...you should clear your mind of all other thoughts and every time your mind wanders stop it and focus on just the aficionado again..I also like to read a book at bedtime...both these work for me. Sometimes I still have bad night where I lie there for 3 hours trying to sleep but they are profoundly less than before I started the fan and reading.

I own also used Unisom(Doxylamine Succinate)/Restavit some nights...you can cut the tablet in half or base and take it only if you have tried to seize to sleep for awhile and its not happening ...they are available over the counter at the chemist.

you can take an over the counter sleep aid such as tylenol pm, simply sleep, unisom, or bach flower remedies rescue sleep natural sleep aid. you can find adjectives of these at walgreens. hope this helps.
