What's the best bearing to treat a nick on your obverse?

I took an incredibly hard fall past its sell-by date of my bike tonight onto the pavement and scraped up my the side of my face and the palms of my hands. What's the best road to treat them? I already ran my hands beneath cool water to get adjectives the debris off and everything but it stings approaching crazy. My face looks like a cheese grater attacked it. I own a mom who makes a huge deal out of everything so I stipulation to find a way for my face to look better by the morning! Can you put makeup on a graze?

thx

Answers:    One thing is certain: you probably won't look too much better contained by the morning. Don't put makeup on it! Makeup will just slow the healing process and could even infect the wounds. Not too mention that putting makeup over scratch usually looks like crap anyway!

Go and buy an antibiotic cream like Neosporin or Polysporin. This won't speed the salutary, but it will prevent infection and allow your body's healing factors to close the wound more trimly. Don't use any alcohol products or other strong disinfectants; this will just irritate the scrapes even more.

And don't cover or ice pack your face. Leaving it uncovered will slow down the healing process. You should with the sole purpose use bandages on cuts and scrapes when they are within areas that will get irritated by clothing (like your knee) or where they will take dirty fast. The palms of your hands are particularly prone to bacteria, so you might want to bandage any specifically nasty scrapes.

Once the scrape scab over, you should buy a vitamin E cream to help fade the scars. I've have an inch-long scar on my forehead since I was 11, and I started using vitamin E grease a year ago - now it's barely evident!

And once again: NO MAKE-UP. .
You should not apply makeup to any open sore, so you need to keep on until it dries. Applying hydrogen peroxide gently several times a day will hold on to it disinfected and help it to heal as quick as possible. Aloe vera. The real thing, not that fancy crap within a bottle from the Walgreen's. Find someone with a plant and break a piece of leaf rotten, and squeeze the goo on where you need it.

And move off the bloody make up off. No pun intended.
makeup...that could close to infect it..or just cause acne lol...

put neosporn on it that make stuff heal 3 times faster and washing your obverse with warm river and a light soap can help cart some of the dried up blood out of the cuts..
Don't put makeup on it! It will look wayyyy worse! Rinse it out with some peroxide and then put neosporin on it.. and if it turns into a blemish you could try maderma i don't know if it actually works but its worth a try! Good luck! apply aloe-vera gel
mixture of vesan and turmeric once a day
and you can add on curd in this mixture.

neosporin or bacitracin Sky??????? Sweetheart??? What have you done??!! You should NOT try to obscure it with make-up... turn to a doctor or pharmicist and ask what they have for it... Of for pete's sake just agree to your mum know... it's no big deal... (lying by omission???!! - Ms. LBO!???)

When I was a kid I be riding a racer with no brakes (yes WTF??)... and I tried to race my friend on his BMX... I won the see.. but yes... stacked it bad... slid on gravel for about 30 yard... and scraped the side of my (a)ss and legs and ripped my toenail half off when I hit the curb!!

Ointments, disinfectants and creams galore.. for two weeks formerly it all started to heal again!!

SKY????????????? describe your mum, go see a doctor or a pharmicist... You dont want to do anyhting dodgy to scar your facade... seek professional advice! (otherwise you might enjoy a permanent scar and we cannot own that can we!).
Clean it if you can with a little bit of soap. If you are not going out, afterwards put Vaseline (aquaphor ointment would be better) on your scrapes. Also there’s an emulsion named “vitaciline” that you may found at any Mexican store and it’s for burns, scraps, etc. it works so prompt! Another option would be to put some arnica on it.
* Vaseline, Aquaphor, Arnica, these you may find them at any grocery store or pharmacy *

Please don’t put make up on it! it will return with worse.

And for the future, I will suggest to have you should hold natural oil name “Tea Tree” (there’s a cream presentation also), I always have it handy, is muti-purpose, I’ve be using it for years and my family love it! this is a concentrated oil so you one and only use a few drops (1-2) and it last for ever!
