Whats the produce of cramps contained by legs?

umm yea like u know when u get leg cramps what cause that?
not juist cuz ur sitting for to long or because you ahvent ran in a long time..and i stipulation this one for my homework

A cramp is usually caused by the build up of lactic acid contained by the muscle.

Muscles need oxygen to work, but if you overuse them and your body cannot take within enough oxygen an 'oxygen debt' is made in the form of lactic tart.

The body finds it hard to remove this lactic acid rapidly as the oxygen debt needs to be paid bad by replacing the already used oxygen, and when it builds up to a point the muscle cannot work anymore it cramps up to tell you to stop using it.

This is why you may see athletes when the have a break contained by an event holding thier legs up in the air and shaking them. It is to try and remove the build up of lactic sour.

This also explains why you pant and breath heavily when you do a lot of exercise, it is to pay bad the oxygen debt you body has taken.

usually leg cramps could be cause by growing pains. but another reason is that if you do not usually run or excersize, and then adjectives of a sudden you run /jog..for like a while, or maybe do leg stretches that you dont usually do..that can cause leg cramps too!
