What's the right route to wear a tubular plaster on your knees?

So I've got a dodgy knee & I'm going hiking. I have need of to wear a tubular bandage on it so I wore it today and it keeps wrinkling up or falling down and largely being inconvenient and I don't want to have to stop and fix it every 10mins while I'm hiking.

Is here a right way round to wear it? should it be folded over? if so at the top or the bottom? and should the unfolded edges be matched up or should the bottom or top bit be made longer?

cheers

Answers:    Hi there

Firstly you have need of to make sure that you have the correct size plaster. Once you know you have, you need to put the cold compress on so that it runs from joint to joint sooner. Knees are funny ones and in my experience, I always wear them from mid-calf to mid-thigh. This system there is support not only over the knees but also either side. If the bandage is more than ever long, you can either cut it to the correct length or double it over. If you double it over just generate sure you pull both ends to the same point. Think that make sense!

Good luck and enjoy your hike! Don't forget your anti-inflammatory medication!
