I broke my middle finger in November playing football. I got an xray a couple weeks later and be put in a cast for 3 weeks. Now the bone seems to be heal, but the joint at the tip of my finger seems to be loose, sounds wierd, I know. The tip bone can wiggle around, and you dont necessitate ot be a doctor to know that somethings wrong with that.

Could this be a problem with a tendon? And is near any hope for it to heal after so long?
Answers:    well can you bend it? and if it was a ligament then it would be extremely painful even now and when its not moving and would cart ages. if it only had to be in a classify for three weeks i doubt its a tendon.

Normally after you break a bone then the limb or cohesive WILL be different in one or more ways. It could be not completely healed all the same because even if you have to wear a cast for three weeks it will take in the region of 6 months or more to heal COMPLETELY and even then it will still be alittle odd.

if your really concerned i would see a doctor.
