so my field hockey preseason just started this week on monday...i've be fine all week except the expected aches and pains from getting kicked wager on into shape. today though after practice, my knee started hurting. i didn't get hit or anything, but i know my knees did fly in some unusual and probably unnatural ways. now it's hurting whenever i put pressure on it, looks discolored, and is a moment or two bigger than the other knee. any ideas? nil to worry about or is it something? I own a big tournament tomorrow and i don't want my knee to stay in one spot while my body go the other way...ya know?

Answers:    discoloration is probably the effect of bursted blood vessels (bruise) i'm guessing you put too much force on your knees. i would be careful if you're doing a tournament tomorrow, you might want to goto your local pharmacy and get a knees brace, you might think it looks stupid, but believe me it works
