When i start to run my ankles hurt?
I run a mile every week in school. When i run 1 minute within the mile my ankles really start to hurt. This really slows me down. Is there any way i can fix this.

Sounds to me as though you are not stretching ...gotta stretch before running.Point your toes...bring your ankles inward by pulling on them for a couple of minutes..

I am the same way except mine will bring back to the point of searing pain and my ankle will give out. I enjoy had to drop out of sports in yesteryear due to it. I went to the doctor and found out that I was born lacking any cartilage in my ankles so there is no support. I own found that wearing a brace slows me down but its less painfull.

Haha, I have to run a mile every week to at conservatory. Im guessing the problem is that your ankles aren't very strong and while your running, your using them. My ribs always hurt surrounded by about the first minute of the mile, but after running the mile a'lot, I could run it longer with out my ribs hurting.I run almost 2-3 miles a day in middle institution track(not including soccer and free time running) and that happens to me also. My ankles are really weak, but of late that tan ankle wrap you can get from CVS really help. It could also be your shoes. They could be wrong for your foot or not provide enough support. Check you running shoes and try to bend them. if they bend at the toe end, they are fitting. if they bend in the middle, they are bad. Good luck!
im a runner too. its shin splits. ICE THEM DOWN EVERRRRRYNITE!! its purely them being sore from running on them. shin splits can go from your shins to your ankles.
Try insubstantially strapping your ankle for support before you run.
