ok I just got a blister today. I picked at it a couple of times. also rubbing it with my finger right presently.(the thing annoying me) so how long will it take for it to heal?
Answers:    Do not pick at blisters. Clean it helpfully with warm soapy water, awfully gently and keep it protected so it won't get infected. In time it will restore to health, messing with it will only make it worse. Source(s): RN

Well I wouldnt pop it because you are expected to get an infection. Clean it, dry it then put tooth paste (not the gel the righteous old regular toothpaste) on it. And then cover it with a bandaid, Cover the intact blister with it. Wash it off and repeat twice a day and it will dry up and turn away in about 5 days. Don't pop it. The toothpaste will slowly and safely dry it out.

Normal household blister? About 1 or 2 weeks, depending on the size and how doomed to failure the burn was. Only 3rd degree burns usually last longer.
