When will my sore-ness move about away ?

i'm sore everywhere , shoulders , back , legs , thighs .
It's from football .
i had it yesterday but not as unpromising , i can walk and just by a hair`s breadth run .
I have been putting on icy-hot and soaking within hot baths but that doesn't work , will i be better in a few days for football practice ?
