Answer: I would like to add to every ones answer by truism that some are bigger because you may have already scratched them and not noticed, especially if this happen overnight. Bacteria on our fingernails and on our skin may irritate the bitten area, more so if the bite becomes infected. Also it have great deal to do with how long it bit you and where on earth. Our bodies are full of nerves. Our skin therefore has abundant nerve endings. If you begin to get bitten close to one of these areas, you may experience more pain. To fall the severity of the inflammation you can research many sites that offer home remedies. Also, it is believed that a regular intake of vitamin B's help to reduce your chances of human being bitten. Apparently these pesky critters do not like the taste of it contained by your blood. it's the mosquito's saliva that does that. when it drinks, the saliva prevents the blood from clotting. it's itchy too
i guess it drank longer within one spot so it got more saliva..
It depends on the amount of time the mosquito spent sucking your blood and also on how allergic you are to them. Most people enjoy some sort of allergy to mosquito saliva but some have way more than others. So I can capture stung by a mosquito and get a bite about the size of a sand dollar on my arm and my sister can find a mosquito bite that looks like a small pimple. Crazy how those allergens work. Also if your skin is more sensitive or calloused in one nouns the itch factor plays out differently.
