Why be production of Midrin discontinued?

For at least three years I took Midrin for migraines, then a few months ago when I go to have my prescription refilled, first the pharmacist told me that here was a "manufacturer's backorder" on Midrin, then subsequent that production of Midrin had apparently discontinued. If I'm not mistaken, Midrin was also available as a generic, and I'm trying to digit out what would make every manufacturer discontinue it, not only Midrin's original patent holder. Have here been medical problems traced to Midrin usage? Or was nearby some other key ingredient that suddenly became unobtainable for adjectives manufacturers? Or is there some other explanation?

The medication may hold been back ordered at the time, and your pharmacist may own had trouble obtaining the medication. I own filled a prescription of the medication in the final 2 weeks for my daughter, so I know that I was able to get hold of the medication. I have also not had any see that the medication was no longer available, and I usually get updates going on for headache preparations.

The generic formulation I filled was from InterxPharm.
