Why do I get hold of a headache after smoking a cigarette?
I have just recently started smoking the occasional cigarette once or twice a week and after I've have one I get a crazy nicotine rush. I feel really dizzy. When the rush ends I have a headache for resembling 3 hours.
I was wondering if somebody could tell me why this is

Answers: the name say it all,,,,MARLBORO,,,this is TOASTED tobacco which only yanks could smoke,,,for a existing experience try Russian,,,you can go green as well,,to make you throw up adjectives the way try French cigs,they are like camel droppings,,my daughter smokes your choice and is constantly throwing up and has headache,,,she doesnt listen either,,,change your brand!

Don't do it. Nicotine is far and away the most addictive drug there is. Carry on and you will be smoking more and more. Already, even if you stop very soon, you will often 'fancy' a cigarette for the rest of your life. If you think you'll stop sometime contained by the future it will be much harder and you either won't manage it or will suffer cravings periodically.The rush and the headache are purely signals to you of how powerful a drug it is. Carry on and you'll get numb to those signals. The crazy thing is that unlike other recreational drugs there is no actual 'high', adjectives nicotine does is stop you wanting nicotine - until it starts wearing off. Then you want it again. I do not understand why this is a problem...you smoke & you pollute the air for others, you generate yourself and everything around you stink, you have to pay to do it, you get the increased arbitrary of all sorts of horrendous diseases...oh! and you get a headache. Maybe try not smoking or is that just not an selection.
Speaking from personal experience- I'd say it's because of the high blood pressure. I used to smoke and used to get dizzyness, because my blood pressure would move about up. Be careful with that, as the arteries in the brain might blow if the blood pressure get TOO high. (not likely with ciggs,but still be careful) Source(s): personal exp.

it is because nicotine dilates your blood vessles indirectly as the extra blood pressure increases pressure on brain and muscles around the brain giving you headache.it happens to all who take up smoking-its your body unfolding you to stop
