Why do some antediluvian injuries still hurt years then...even after surgery...
I nicked the tendon on my index finger on a sharp metal boundary over 7 years ago and had surgery to repair. It was a small injury but sometimes the finger/joint still hurts.
There be a time however that the finger had a lot of exercise and during that time nearby was no pain. Now - lacking exercise or as much use it has begun to hurt.
Answer: you may enjoy a damaged nerve or some arthritis within it due to the injury if it still hurts seven years after you injury it will probably always give you problems but you could ask a doctor in the order of it maybe they can give you something to hold the pain or irratation to a minumum, good luck
