Why do stitches transpire?

i want to know how and why stitches occur whats the proccess of the pain how does it work and what happen in your body when you get one?

Answer:    A side stitch cause an intense, stabbing pain under the lower brim of the ribcage and although it can occur on both sides of the abdomen, research have found that it occurs more frequently on the right side.

The pain is usually brought on by energetic exercise and activity. The pain is cause by a spasm of the diaphragm muscle. Stitches also occur when your body is low on potassium, so if you have one, guzzle a banana.
