Hmm.. I would guess because we own alot of nerves throughout our skin.. also maybe because our blood vessels cessation there and return back towards our heart? I don't really know why that would have anything to do with it, but I thought I'd lug a stab at it right? Also, maybe because our toenail is there or something? becaus it is on the tip of your toe similar to if you hurt the tip of yur finger it hurts more than the middle =]

Dude. At least you didn't break yours. Mines broken. That REALLY hurts! I stub my toes adjectives the time. It hurts bad for a minute, then go to a dull throbbing. When you break it, it doesn't hurt at all for a second, then it frickin' KILLS!! Oh, honey, if that's the worst discomfort you've felt then I sincerely envy you..
